Q: What does the recording deadline mean?
A: The recording deadline is the last possible day that we can record your interviewee in order for your segment to air during the broadcast period of your contract.
We strongly advise scheduling your interview at leat two weeks in advance of the recording deadline. If we record your spokesperson on the day of the recording deadline, you will not have a chance to hear the segment before broadcast.
The recording deadline is always two days before we ship the program to the airline for broadcast. After that, there will be no opportunity to make changes to the segment before it airs.

Q: Are the deadlines firm?
A: Yes. Due to the airlines distribution systems, we are unable to provide extensions. Please notify us immediately if an issue arises.

Q: My spokesperson is out of the country until after the recording deadline. What do I do?
A: In most instances, this is not a problem. As long as your spokesperson has access to a landline telephone, we can record the interview.
This may be an issue if your segment is scheduled for United Airlines because our recording kits are often delayed in Customs. If this is your situation, please call your line producer so that we can make alternate arrangements. Our phone number is 818.762.6800.

Q: Why is the delivery date so far in advance of the airdate?
A: The airlines require that we ship at least four months in advance of the airdate because of their complex approval, duplication and distribution channels. Although your interview will be completed long before this date, we are providing it to familiarize you with the production process. Once we begin assembling and mastering a show, no further changes can be made. We begin this process at least two weeks in advance of the delivery date.
