In the interview with Daugherty, he discussed the creation of the company’s information/sweepstakes portal, the company’s partners and what’ lies ahead in the future for Iwon.com.

According to Daugherty, the combination of a big money sweepstakes with an information portal was a clear winner. "We thought if you can combine the popularity and the usefulness of a portal or a search engine with a large scale cash giveaway, both two proven concepts, if you marry them together, you have a winner."
