IT RADIO NETWORK NOW FEATURING INTERVIEWS WITH THE CEOS OF CORIO AND QWEST CYBER.SOLUTIONS & TRW SYSTEMS EXEC
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA August 22, 2000 -- IT Radio Network, the voice behind eBusiness, is featuring in-depth interviews with George Kadifa, CEO of Corio (Nasdaq: CRIO), John Charters, CEO of Qwest Communications (NYSE: Q) subsidiary Qwest Cyber.Solutions and Larry Brekka, Director for TRW Inc. (NYSE: TRW).
During his interview, Kadifa discussed the companys current and future growth expectations. "Corio is at the point now where were growing extremely rapidly. In the current quarter we grew exactly 97% over the previous quarter on a sequential basis, which is a very significant growth," said Kadifa. "Our view is we have a core business that is well established, that will keep growing at a very rapid rate."
In his interview, Charters discussed how the formation of Qwest Cyber.Soluitons stemmed for the recent Qwest/KPMG partnership. "We formed a strategy to create either companies, strategies, strategic relationships or partnerships that would leverage the Qwest infrastructure, the hosting centers and the network and drive value to create stickier revenue for Qwest clients," said Charters. "One business that we created was Qwest Cyber Solutions, and that evolved from that strategy."
During his interview, Brekka discussed the importance for a company to have strong risk management. "Id say that e-business has new types of risks that people are not used to dealing with. They have to be careful in the planning stage, they have to watch carefully during the development of their capability and they have to be very responsive to the market," said Brekka. "If youre not nimble in this market, you can lose out. You can lose credibility with your customers. You can lose your customer growth."
