HOOVERS ONLINE LAUNCHES IN-FLIGHT BUSINESS SHOW ON AMERICAN AIRLINES
The Hoovers Business Channel to Run on American Airlines September-October 2000
AUSTIN, Texas -- August 31, 2000 Hoovers, Inc. (Nasdaq: HOOV), operator of the businesspersons portal Hoovers Online (http://www.hoovers.com), today announced that it has teamed with Sky Radio to sponsor and produce an hour-long, in-flight audio business program to air on American Airlines.
The show, targeted to executive business travelers and titled "The Hoovers Business Channel," features entertaining discussions among top business leaders on a blend of business, finance and technology issues. The Hoovers Business Channel is scheduled to air during September and October of 2000 on all audio/video-equipped American Airlines flights lasting more than 2 hours. Additionally, the program will be available and accessible through Hoovers Online, in partnership with Sky Radio, at http://www.ceolive.com.
