Nobel Prize Winner Jimmy Carter Appears on Sky Radio
Los Angeles, California October 11, 2002 - Nobel Peace Prize winner and 39th President Jimmy Carter appears on Sky Radio.
In an exclusive interview with CEO and on-air host Marc Holland, Carter discusses hemispheric health issues, US/Cuba relations, the Carter Foundation, as well as, current U.S./ Middle East policy.
During the interview, President Carter was critical of the current administrations Middle East policy and felt that the U.S. was not giving equal consideration to both sides in the conflict. Were doing very little. This administration has basically abandoned any real effort to bring about reconciliation between the Israelis and the Palestinians. Carter believes, you have to be trusted by both sides
you have to deal equally with both sides, were not doing that.
