IT RADIO NETWORK IS NOW FEATURING AN INDEPTH INTERVIEW WITH THE VP OF THE INFORMATION ASSURANCE GROUP FOR EDS

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – Nov 29th, 2000 -- IT Radio Network, "The Voice of eBusiness," is now featuring an in-depth interview with Shakil Kidwai, Vice President of Information Assurance Group for EDS (NYSE: EDS).

During the interview, Kidwai discussed today's top security challenges, what companies should be aware of when dealing with global partners and some of the emerging technologies.

According to Kidwai, one of the top security challenges today is in increasing the awareness of threats and the steps necessary to combat them. "There is a need to create a change in the management mindset away from security as an overhead cost," said Kidwai. "Security is a critical component of the new digital economy."

Kidwai also discussed the security issues that companies should be aware of when dealing with international and global partners. "In a chain of interconnected networks, the chain is only as strong as the weakest link, or the partner with the weakest security," said Kidwai. "Countries have different security laws concerning cyber crime. All businesses must have a keen understanding of the international legal environment before connecting up to the global partners."
